THE manufacturers of Ocean Craft aluminium dinghies are claiming that they have made the safest yacht tender around. How? By using tubular aluminium shapes for maximum structural strength, a hollow "v" deck for additional buoyancy and an effective double skin to tackle rocky river beds and reefs.
The Ocean Craft makes a versatile and secure platform for most boating activities, and is ocean-going. The tenders are available with a complete range of accessories including high sides, lock-up cuddy cabin, short/long shafts and painted hull. In addition, the lower deck and forward buoyancy section can be filled with ballast (seawater) in case of high winds and heavy seas. There's a (patented) sponson valves for each buoyancy section and a self-bailing deck with screw in drain bung. They are emergency life raft certifiable and built to survey as standard.
Constructed and welded to aircraft safety standards using state of the art MIG and TIG pulse welding techniques, the Ocean Craft dinghies are fabricated from marine grade aluminium, the three-metre version weighing just 67kg.
